ToastCue is operated by FAST AI LABS LTD. This policy explains the information used to provide the app and the choices available to you.
Information we process
- Account information: your Sign in with Apple identifier and, only if Apple provides them, your name and relay email address.
- Speech information: the answers, memories, instructions, generated speech and revisions you choose to create.
- Purchase information: product and transaction identifiers, entitlement status and refund or renewal events supplied by Apple. We do not receive your card details.
- Product interaction analytics: limited events such as onboarding completion, generation success and purchase result. Analytics never contain your stories, generated speech, prompts or contact details.
- Support information: anything you choose to send when requesting help.
How we use information
We use this information to authenticate your account, generate and save your speech, verify purchases, restore access, prevent abuse, understand whether core app flows work and answer support requests. We do not sell personal information, serve ads or track you across other companies’ apps and websites.
AI processing and service providers
Speech inputs are sent directly from our backend to MiniMax only to generate or revise the result you request. The MiniMax credential is never included in the app, and our application logs do not record prompt or response bodies. We also use Apple for authentication and purchases and a private Hetzner server in Germany for app hosting and encrypted storage. These providers process information only to deliver their services to us.
Security and retention
Speech inputs and generated content are encrypted at rest using authenticated encryption and protected in transit with TLS. We retain your account and documents while the account is active so that you can reopen and revise them. Purchase records may be retained where necessary for entitlement, fraud, accounting and legal obligations. Operational logs exclude raw stories, prompts, generated content, tokens and signed purchase payloads.
Your choices
You can delete your account from the app’s Settings screen. Deletion revokes the stored Apple authorization, removes your documents and personal account fields, and ends server access. Apple purchase history may remain with Apple and records that we must keep for legal or fraud-prevention reasons may be retained in a restricted form. You may also revoke Sign in with Apple in your Apple Account settings.
Children and international processing
ToastCue is not directed to children under 13. Information may be processed in the United Kingdom, Germany and other locations where our providers operate, with safeguards appropriate to the service.
